This weekend is Saturday the 25 and Sunday the 26 May beginning the Sixth weekend in Easter.

The Kyiv Chamber Choir sing In Thy Kingdom from One Thousand Years of Ukrainian Sacred Music.

This weekend's reading is from the Acts of the Apostles.

Over the past week we have heard 2 distinct voices, the voice of Jesus and the voice of Paul... Always loving and reassuring. Always open to God’s will and His word. Do you find this sort of openness appealing? Or perhaps a bit naive?

Paul was a great missionary and teacher. He went wherever he was sent to proclaim the word of God.  Are there ways that I can take on the spirit of Paul in my life? To listen to God’s voice and let it take me wherever it is I need to go?

Would you say that you live out your faith? In what way?

As you listen to the reading again, imagine yourself there next to Paul as he has his vision and he tells you where you are going next notice the feelings that arise in your heart.

Now as this prayer time comes to an end, are there things you want to pray to God for to help you hear his voice, and recognise his presence in your life? Ask for whatever it is you need to take God’s word into our world...
