Welcome to the Saturday Examen.

The examen is a prayer of checking in with yourself and with God, both of you at the same time. Today, we’re noticing what’s been going on in our week.


Where’s the life been?


What’s disturbed my peace?

And I’m considering how God is speaking to me in all of the movements I experience.

As you look back over today then, or the last 24 hours, call to mind one thing has been life-giving for you. Enjoy that moment again with God.

And has anything disturbed you today, even slightly? Be with that moment now. Let God be with you with it.

Now share with God what you are noticing about these two moments.

What do you need to help you live well? Ask God for this.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
