Welcome to the Saturday Examen.


Take time for your body and mind to settle into stillness, asking God to be close beside you during this time of reflection…

God is light in whom there is no darkness. Ask God’s Spirit to help you look back over your week in the light of mercy, seeing the gift of God’s presence during these days.


Looking back over the week, how did the daily Scripture passages strike you? Did any particular need or desire arise within your prayer?

Are you aware of anything knocking specially on the door of your mind? Have particular challenges or questions arisen, memories that need healing or hopes that need nurturing?


Have you been present to God this week, or have inner or outer circumstances made that difficult?


Are you aware of wanting to express something to God but struggling to find the words? Ask God to give you the words you need…


Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
