The Saturday Examen

Welcome to the Saturday Examen.
Take a moment to stop and be. How are you at this moment? Physically, emotionally, spiritually? For a minute simply let yourself be in God’s loving presence.
Begin to recall the past week with its highs and lows. Ask God to show you what it would be good to see now from this time.
Ask God to show you a moment this week when you gave or received the most love. When were you most fully yourself, the person God created you to be?
Now ask God to remind you of a moment when you gave or received the least love. When did you struggle to be fully yourself this week? How does God look at this with you?
Offer these moments now to God in gratitude for God’s loving presence with you at all times.

As you look ahead at the week to come, what gift or grace do you need from God? Let God know what is on your mind or heart.
