Saturday Examen

• Take a moment to notice your surroundings as you enter into prayer today… What can you hear beyond your headphones…? What catches the attention of your eyes…? What smells are you drawn to…? How do your clothes feel against your skin…?

• As you notice these things, move towards a place of stillness…turn your gaze now upon God…the one who loves you…

• How has your prayer life been this week? As your mind sweeps over the scripture and words you have prayed with, recall something that stands out to you…

• Was there something this week that made you feel fully alive? Fully the person God has called you to be?

• Was there something that caused a friction or tension in you? A sense of desolation?

• Bring your reflections together in the form of a prayer to God as we end this time…what might you need to ask for to help you in the coming week?

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
