God's Grandeur: The Poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins SJ

Gerard Manley Hopkins was a Jesuit of the Jesuits in Britain, famous for his works of poetry. In this retreat, we pray with some of his most famous poems. Their key theme: finding God in all things is central to the work of Pray as you go. This was our first retreat to focus solely on poetry.

Caritas in Veritate

These meditations were created for Pope Benedict XVI's State Visit to the United Kingdom from 16th to 19th September, 2010, visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Birmingham.  This is a series of five meditiations on Pope Emeritus Benedict's third encyclical, Caritas in Veritate.

Caritas in Veritate was issued on 7th July 2009, and deals with the question of social development in light of the Gospel.

Way of Ignatius

A five-day programme of prayer to lead you a little deeper into Ignatian spirituality.

St Ignatius of Loyola, who founded the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) in 1540, with nine companions, was also the founder of a tradition (or 'school', or approach to prayer) now known as Ignatian spirituality.
